Experienced Strategic Communications Consultant Joins 5Points Creative

Roanoke, VA - May 2020.

5Points Creative announces the addition of Strategic Communications Consultant Meg Carter. She will be assisting the 5PC team with key client communications, brand development, and the expansion of their leadership development work. The Roanoke-based full-service marketing and advertising agency brought Carter on board because of her unique blend of creative, conceptual, and management experience.

“Meg has been connected with the firm since our inception,” said Bruce C. Bryan, President of 5Points Creative. “Through the years she has consulted with me personally and we’ve periodically brought her in to work with clients who had very specific needs. My team has loved all the interactions with Meg through the years and we’ve all been thoroughly impressed. Even during a crisis such as this – perhaps especially at a time like this – it’s critical to be ready and able to add talent to a strong team. We couldn’t be happier with the addition of Meg.”

Carter has recently worked as a freelance consultant specializing in internal brand communications, crisis and strategic messaging, and assisting business leaders with workforce optimization challenges. Beyond her consulting services work, she remains deeply committed to the nonprofit work she does throughout the state. Carter has championed countless nonprofits in Virginia’s Blue Ridge. She has participated in various capacities on the boards of the Taubman Museum of Art, The Fralin Biomedical Research Institute, Carilion Children’s, The Community Youth Program, Visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge, St. John’s Endowment Board, Roanoke Valley Reads, The American Red Cross, and Mill Mountain Garden Club and has served on event committees for the Roanoke Women’s Foundation, The Roanoke Symphony, Mill Mountain Theater, Restoration Housing, and The Making Foundation. Carter also played a key role in the founding and launching of The Society of 1918, a giving circle designed to foster and increase women’s philanthropy at her alma mater, The College of William and Mary.
