Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Center Launches New Website

Roanoke, VA – January 2022.  5Points Creative launched a brand-new website (https://www.deafhh.org/) for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Center, Inc.  DHHSC is uniquely positioned to help those with early stage and significant to complete hearing loss challenges.  The organization is based in Roanoke and has nine locations throughout the region to serve the residents of the western part of Virginia.

“When the organization approached us in 2021, we knew we could help and we wanted to help,” said Bruce C. Bryan, 5Points Creative’s President.  “The organization does so much good for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community that we wanted to give them an online presence to match the level of service they provide.”

The new website features elements the organization had at their disposal, plus updated graphics, a brand-new format, and a modern responsive design.  A team of writers, designers, and builders worked with Betti Thompson, the Executive Director of DHHSC, Inc. to ensure the new website reflects her passion and demonstrates the way Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services fill significant gaps in the western part of the state.

“We do great work and support so many,” said Betti Thompson.  “We wanted a website that was reflective of the work we do, put us in the best light, and helps our consumers find what they need.  The site 5Points Creative built for us accomplishes all of these goals.”

DHHSC is a non-profit organization founded in 1995 for the purpose of education and providing information to the region. Since its beginning, DHHSC has been given the opportunity to work with state agencies through contracts to provide a variety of services.  The non-profit will lean on 5Points Creative throughout the rest of the year to provide ongoing website and marketing support.

In 2019 5Points Creative was featured on The Buzz television show for their work with Healing Strides.  In 2021, the full-service marketing firm was featured three more times with work for Children’s Assistive Technology Services, Giles County Department of Social Services, and Habitat for Humanity of the New River Valley.  Previously, 5PC has provided marketing services for DePaul Community Resources, Help Save The Next Girl, the Cave Spring Volunteer Firefighters, and The Spot on Kirk.  For more information about web services and non-profit work provided by the agency visit www.5PointsCreative.com.
