Roanoke, VA – March 2023. 5Points Creative was honored at the Western Virginia Advertising Awards Gala which took place on Saturday, March 4. “It’s always an exciting time of year for our creative and account teams,” said Bruce C. Bryan, Founder and President of 5Points Creative.  “This year was extra special for us with the wins in a wide range of categories – video production, online, and a printed project.  It’s a testament to the full-service concept our team has embraced.”

Hosted by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Roanoke, the Western Virginia Advertising Awards Gala honored the best of 2022 in local and regional advertising and marketing. More than 150 were in attendance to celebrate the award show at Charter Hall in the historic City Market Building.

Bower Heating and Air is a family business with 525 combined years of experience in HVAC maintenance. Since 2019, they have partnered with 5Points Creative on media strategy, digital, and marketing consultation. In 2022, Bower approached 5Points Creative for a television campaign that was unique and memorable. The Perfect Temperature campaign, created by 5Points Creative and CRY, took home the top professional honor of the year.

“Early in my advertising career when I was a media representative, I called on Howard Packett,” Bryan said.  “Recently our firm did some work for a company he was consulting with, so I was able to connect with him again.  To receive the Best in Show named in his honor means a lot to me personally.  It also reflects well on our entire creative team.  Of course, work like this is never done without the support and trust of clients like Bower Heating and Air Conditioning.”

Water By Design, a premier hot tub, swim spas, and sauna dealer, worked with 5Points Creative for a commercial that portrayed their products as both wellness and relaxation tools. The commercial that helped Water By Design expand its market penetration, secured a Silver ADDY for Television Advertising Single Spot :30 or Less.

“It’s both rewarding and fulfilling to work with clients like Bower Heating and Air and Water By Design who trust us to flex our creativity,” said Kym Ricketts, Creative Director at 5Points Creative. “Out of the box campaigns are fun, but they also bring results. I’m so proud of the incredible team we have at 5Points Creative!”

5Points Creative’s new website, which won the Silver ADDY in Online Self-Promotion, features innovative design elements, including both vertical and horizontal timeline scrolling, as well as geometric low-poly background that reacts to the user’s mouse movement.

“We built a new website and really tested our creative abilities in the process,” said Bryan.  “To receive this acknowledgement is really exciting in this particular situation because of the unique approach our skilled website development team took.”

In addition to innovative design and the firm’s collective service information, this new website showcases the 5Points Creative client work, business news, industry’s insights, and more.

5Points Creative also won a Silver ADDY in Collateral Brand Elements for their branded Holiday boxes that were given to clients during the holiday season. These projects continue to show the digital, marketing and creative branding accomplishments of the firm.
