C.W. Markham

Markham comes to 5PC with a long and diverse background in the arts. Most recently he was the Director of Development with the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra (RSO) where he was responsible for donor and sponsor relationship management. Prior to his time at RSO, Markham lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he served in development and coordination roles at the Painted Bride Art Center and the Curtis Institute of Music.  C.W. Markham brings nearly 30 years of experience in program management and team leadership to the firm.

He is currently a panelist for the Virginia Commission for the Arts and is a past president and board member of Roanoke's Association of Fundraising Professionals. Markham holds a master's degree in art history from Temple University and a bachelor's degree in humanities from the University of Richmond.
